Congratulations to Alessandro Ambler

Alessandro Ambler has been awarded the 2024 Yablonovitch Research Prize for
his thesis "First Observation of the Simultaneous Production of a W boson
and two photons in proton-proton collisions,
conducted under the supervision of Brigitte
Vachon.
The Yablonovitch Research Prize was established in 2022 by Eli Yablonovitch
(BSc 1967, DSc 2018) and Karen Yablonovitch, and is awarded by the Faculty
of Science at convocation to a graduate student enrolled in the Faculty of
Science with the best research accomplishment in experimental physics.
Once again, congratulations Alessandro, a very well deserved honour!
