Congratulations to Catherine Boisvert

Dec 2023:
PhD student Catherine Boisvert and her teammates from the Tokyo Inst. of
Technology won a team competition spanning several days last week in Japan.
Teams of students were tasked with coming up with solutions for
“efficiency to sufficiency”, using material science and
material informatics/artificial intelligence/machine learning. Projects were
evaluated by a panel of academics and industrial members of the
Tokyo Tech
Academy for Convergence of Materials and Informatics (TAC-MI)
program. Catherine was the major driver behind this team.
Furthermore, Catherine won the best student talk
earlier the same week at the TAC-MI conference.
Once again, congratulations Catherine on a milestone week! You made
McGill proud.
