Four Physics professors get 34.7 M cpu-hours from Compute Canada

In this year's allocation, Compute Canada has awarded
Hong Guo, Sangyong Jeon,
Victoria Kaspi and
Nikolas Provatas close to 34.7 million
processor-hours
(with market value of over 2.2 M$) to further their research in `First
principles modeling of nanoelectronics and artificial photosynthesis' (Guo),
`Comprehensive investigation of quark-gluon plasma in relativistic heavy
ion collisions' (Jeon), `Surveys for Radio Pulsars' (Kaspi) and `Multiscale
phase-field crystal study of nano- and micro-structure evolution in materials
out of equilibrium' (Provatas).
