Daryl Haggard awarded Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics

Sep 2019: Congratulations to Daryl Haggard who, as a member of the Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration, is the recipient of the 2020 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics. The prize was awarded to the collaboration “for the first image of a supermassive black hole, taken by means of an Earth-sized alliance of telescopes”.
