Matt Dobbs awarded the 2014 Dunlap Award

Matt Dobbs has won the inaugural
Dunlap Award
from the Canadian Astronomical Society (CASCA) in
recognition of his international leadership on the design and
implementation of systems using Superconducting Transition-Edge Sensor
bolometers.
The Dunlap awards (established in 2013) are given on even-numbered years to an
individual or team for the design, invention, or improvement of instrumentation
or software that has enabled significant advances in astronomy.
