Matt Dobbs awarded the 2014 Dunlap Award

Matt Dobbs Mar 2014: Matt Dobbs has won the inaugural Dunlap Award from the Canadian Astronomical Society (CASCA) in recognition of his international leadership on the design and implementation of systems using Superconducting Transition-Edge Sensor bolometers.

The Dunlap awards (established in 2013) are given on even-numbered years to an individual or team for the design, invention, or improvement of instrumentation or software that has enabled significant advances in astronomy.
