McGill Astrophysics in Physics World's top 10 breakthroughs of 2013

Dec 2013: The South Pole Telescope's detection of the Cosmic Microwave Background's B-mode polarization is among the top 10 breakthoughs of 2013 according to Physics World.

The SPT international team's study was lead by McGill's postdoctoral fellow Duncan Hanson and included other members of McGill's Astrophysics and Cosmology group: Profs. M. Dobbs and G. Holder, postdoctoral fellow Amy Bender and graduate student Tijmen de Haan.
