Visualizing the inner life of cells with super-resolution
microscopy
Department of Physiology Perelman School of
Medicine University of Pennsylvania
Super-resolution microscopy has improved the resolution of light microscopy by
an order of magnitude and is revolutionizing the way we visualize the spatial
organization of cells with nanoscale resolution. Here, I will review our
work in further developing and applying quantitative super-resolution imaging
methods to study cellular organization focusing on nuclear organization and
cytoskeletal organization.
