Lake Louise Winter Institute 2002

The Ice Hockey Team
20-21 February 2002

In the spirit of the Winter Olympics 2002 parallel session in Salt Lake City, a hockey team was formed among the participants to the Lake Louise Winter Institute and a two-day tournament was held.

By the way, guess which country won the olympic gold medals in both men's and women's ice hockey!

First day

On that first day, Team 1 "beated" Team 2
by (approximately) 20 over 18,
which might be a 2-3% C.L. victory.

Second day

On that second day, the heavy snowfall never stopped.
Team 1 and Team 2 were re-shuffled according to:

.. with a similar outcome in goals anyway.
Thus, no deviation from the Standard Model of fairness was observed!

Thanks to all participants for lots of fun!
