Education and public outreach (EPO) has been a passion of mine since I was an undergraduate at Penn State (actually, I've enjoyed teaching going as far back as middle school, when I taught swim lessons, but that wasn't quite as scientific in nature). Since that time, I've been involved in a number of outreach initiatives, including citizen science, activities for elementary school students, workshops for teachers, podcasts, social media, and public observing nights. I've also taught or co-taught two courses and have extensive experience as a tutor and teaching assistant. I enjoy giving public talks on any area of astronomy. Please contact me if you're interested in a visit. You can find more information on my outreach experience below.
