Welcome! I study the quantum properties of nanoscale condensed matter systems and how to use these systems for quantum information processing. I am an associate professor of physics at McGill. I am also a member of two Québec regroupements stratégiques (strategic clusters): INTRIQ and RQMP. I am currently actively recruiting motivated graduate students. If you are interested, please contact me! I welcome applications from all qualified individuals. Members of underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply.

Research

  • • Quantum computing
  • • Quantum condensed matter
  • • Quantum dynamics and decoherence
  • • Quantum measurement and sensing
The latest preprints and publications from the group are on the arXiv.
