The simulations are self-affine with orthogoanl coordiantes. This means that the statistics of 1-D sections are different if we move up and down or left to right. Here, such 1-D sections will have the same alpha values, but C1 and H will be different by a factor Hz which in these examples has the value 5/9. This value was chosen because it is the value appropriate for the vertical stratification of the atmosphere; each of the simulations below are of a vertical section. Because the parameters are smaller in the horizontal section (by Hz), strucutres become more and more flat at larger and larger scales. Here, the "sphero-scale" i.e. the scale where they are roundish is at ls=1 pixel. Again we explore this 3 dimensional parameter space. As before, at each point a 2D image is necessary to understand how the parameters interact, so we present the data in 2D cross sections, with each of alpha, C1, and H held constant separately.
