Order rho2 Corrections to Randall-Sundrum-I Cosmology

Jérémie Vinet

McGill

One of the interesting aspects of the Randall-Sundrum model is the fact that the Friedmann equations contain terms proportionnal to the square of the energy density. This contrasts with standard cosmology where the relationship between H2 and rho is strictly linear. Although deriving the rho2 terms is relatively straightforward in the RS-2 model, the same cannot be said for RS-1, where the presence of a second brane complicates matters. In this talk, I will present results of recent work (hep-th/0201041) where we have used a perturbative approach to derive these second order terms in the RS-1 model.
