Classical and Quantum Theory of Cosmological Perturbations

Robert Brandenberger

Brown University

In this (hopefully pedagogical) lecture, I will discuss the theory of cosmological fluctuations, in particular their application to inflationary cosmology. Note that the theory of cosmological fluctuations is the backbone of modern cosmology, allowing a link to be made between fundamental theory and cosmological observables such as CMB anisotropies.
