Imprecision Cosmology - Aspects of Dark Energy Measurements

I will discuss some hitherto overlooked sources of errors in measurements of dark energy from type Ia Supernovae, and also the issue of distinguishing dark energy from modified theories of gravity as the explanation for the observed cosmic acceleration.
