Toy models for monogamy and bags of gold paradoxes

In this talk, we will address some puzzles about the black hole interior from the bulk perspective using toy models. We will discuss a toy model in empty flat space which captures essential features of the monogamy paradox for flat space black holes within a clean calculational framework. We will also discuss how black holes in AdS can host an enormous number of semiclassical excitations in their interior, which is seemingly not reflected in the Bekenstein Hawking entropy.
