Exploring QCD matter properties with SMASH and the SMASH-vHLLE hybrid Approach

Hannah Elfner (Petersen)

Goethe University

In this talk, I will review the SMASH hadronic transport approach and its application to low beam energy heavy-ion collisions. The current status of the extraction of the equation of state of nuclear matter from anisotropic flow measurements is presented. The study of flow of dileptons with respect to upcoming HADES measurements is discussed. The second part of the talk is devoted to the SMASH-vHLLE hybrid approach. After showing the basic ingredients, a density dependent shear viscosity over entropy ratio is incorporated and dynamic initial conditions allow to extend the hybrid approach to lower beam energies. Last, there is a teaser on recent results for fluctuation observables indicating possible critical behavior.
