Modulated Preheating and CMB Anomalies

Zhiqi Huang

CITA

In modulated preheating models, the generation of non-Gaussianity is driven by nonlinear dynamics, where the usual quadratic expansion of δ N fails. Thus, the predicted non-Gaussianity can be very different from a local shape fNL. I will talk about 1) how CMB anomalies can be produced in this class of models. 2) Approaches to search for anomalies in CMB data.
