Resurgence and Conformal Blocks in AdS/CFT

We consider two-dimensional Conformal Field Theories (CFTs) in the semi-classical limit of large central charge `c'. We expand conformal blocks which appear in various observables as a series in 1/c. This turns out to be an asymptotic series and hence necessitates the inclusion of non-perturbative effects. We give a description of these in terms of new CFTs operators. Due to holography this operators/states have a description in terms of three-dimensional geometries. Due to the close relation between 3D gravity and SL(2,R) Chern-Simons theory, this phenomenon also has a natural meaning in terms of wavefunctions on moduli space of Chern-Simons theory.
