CPM SeminarConfined Polymers as model chromosomesBae-Yeun HaUniversity of WaterlooChromosomes in living cells are strongly confined but show a high level of spatial organization. I will discuss confined polymers as model chromosomes. In particular, I will show how cylindrical confinement reshapes each polymer chain and enhances their segregation, in the way seen in rod-shaped bacteria.
