Superconducting nano electronics hold great promise for realizing quantum
processors. We will briefly discuss the fundamentals of superconducting qubits,
control and measurement schemes. We will further discuss the discussion by
reviewing the steps followed in engineering a quantum processor, review the
state of the art in the industry, and challenges in developing multi-qubit
processors. We will finish the talk by discussing in more details one of
those challenges, namely cross talk, in multi qubit processors.
