The McGill University Physics Department is hosting a three day workshop on "Searching for Cosmic Strings in New Observational Windows". The event will take place in Montreal, Canada, starting Friday Oct. 26 until Sunday Oct. 28, 2012.

The goal of this workshop is to explore new avenues to improve the constraints on cosmic strings making use of recent advances in observational cosmology.
