Medical Physics

Research in medical physics is associated with the department through associate members S. Abbasinejad Enger, J. Kildea and I. Levesque, of McGill's Medical Physics Uniti (MPU). Research done at the MPU is primarily of an applied nature. It is related to patient care, through improvements in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures involving radiation, and is done in collaboration with McGill medical staff. Applicants for the M.Sc. program should directly apply to the MPU, as noted above, while applicants for the Ph.D. program should apply through the Department of Physics.
